Ytria and ECIT teaming up at NLLUG 2012

ECIT becomes Swing Software Partner

ECIT becomes official partner of Swing Software. ECIT was already successful using Swing software integrated in database designs. Available Swing products are:

  • Integrator. Integrate Microsoft Office or OpenOffice with Lotus Notes and Domino applications. Integrator is a printing, reporting, and document automation solution for Lotus Notes
  • Converter. Export Lotus Notes emails and documents into standard PDF format.
    It can be deployed as a toolbar add-on, or delivered within Notes/Domino applications
  • DocPublisher. A central place for company Policies & Procedures and other standard documentation for all departments.
RIM introduces “BlackBerry PlayBook”

During the “Developer Conference” Research In Motion introduced the “BlackBerry PlayBook”. Specifications:

  • 7-inch touchscreen (1024 x 600) pixels.
  • Dual core 1GHz processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB of 32GB flash-disc
  • Micro USB, Micro HDMI and DLNA
  • Two cameras (3-MP front-facing and 5-MP at the back)

BlackBerry PlayBook

ECIT connected as a first on glas fibre in the area

On Wednesday 23 September in Dronten the first glass fibre connection has been produced. By live a connection between Solcon and ECIT the possibilities of glass fibre was illustrated. Both locations used a live "streaming video" link with each other and pictures became entirely in " high definition" presented on a 64 inche screen.

After short pilot and some successful tests in advance, ECIT has as from 23 September a 100/100 MB connection.
